Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her debut as Flora McGrath when she played the role of Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best Actress Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded an Academy Award for best support actress. The role she played as the talkative and inquisitive character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) was the reason she won the award. The role she played was for teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). She also portrayed the teen groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
