Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. She was not only launched into stardom by her win, but she also signed the contract for several albums in the company of RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. She has since released numerous studio albums. Three of them topped the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. She's one of the biggest stars to come out of American Idol. To be successful she experimented with different musical styles, and explored topics. Because of her distinctness and ability as a performer, she was praised by the media and received a number of prestigious awards. In particular, she's won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. Apart from her professional career as a musician, she's appeared on television and film. She is also the writer of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
