Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish and English roots. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. Family resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't study English, hoping to go home to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands to Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. At the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
